HOW TO REPAIR AN OLD AND RUINED LEATHER BAG

A while ago my mother gave me an old leather purse of hers that was distressed and scratched from  time and crummy and i decided to repair it so i can use it again.

So, determined to make it back as new. I searched the web for different ways of repairing leather bags and i came up with a 3 STEP PROJECT to make any ruined and distressed leather bag presentable and wearable again. Here are my ideas:

  3 STEP REPAIRING PROJECT

   

   1. Firstly, take a dump cloth to clean the whole purse and remove dirt and dust.

      2. Then using a soft cloth rub carefully extra virgin olive oil. Remove the excess oil with a      napkin. Let the bag dry for a few minutes.

    3. For the last step, take some shoe polish that matches the colour of your bag and rub it well on your bag.

And you are done!! Now you turned your old distressed leather purse...

How to make doll food: LUNCH & DINNER

DIY DOLLHOUSE DECORATIONS: DOLL LUNCH & DINNER

Pizza, omelet, and delicious chicken all ready to be eaten by your dolls!

You can easily make them using... what else ? SALT DOUGH!!

YOU ARE GONNA NEED:

• salt dough (you can find our recipe from our diy jewellery holders post)
• acrylic paint
• toothpicks

1. PIZZA
   

Lay the salt dough flat using your palm. Then start creating the crust of the pizza using your index finger. Let the pizza to air dry. You can bake it if you like in low temperature for 10-15 minutes.

Using your toothpick or a small paintbrush paint the pizza and create the shapes of pizza sauce, cheese, peperoni, peppers, mushrooms and olives. Let the pizza dry and you are done!!

     2.  OMELET

Lay the salt dough flat again, and try to shape it like an omelet. Let it air dry. Then using a paintbrush paint the omelet and then let it dry or you can bake it before you paint it.

    3.  CHICKEN

Use your fingers and form the chicken around a toothpick. When the salt dough has dried paint the chicken using different shades of brown acrylic paint. Let it dry and you are done!!

How to make doll cakes!

DIY DOLLHOUSE DECORATIONS: DOLL CAKES!

DOLLHOUSE DECORATIONS MARATHON ep 1

The first upload on the DOLLHOUSE DIY DECORATIONS MARATHON are these cute and lovely doll cakes!
They are REALLY easy to make and you can use materials from your house to make them!

The only things you are gonna need are:

• plastic bottle tops
• toilet paper
• water
• clear drying glue
• colored paper or coloured card stock
• acrylic paint

The process is really easy. Firstly glue as many bottle tops you want to create the shape of a cake. Then mix glue,water and toilet paper and stir till the mixture has the consistency of a thick gravy.

Then paint with the mixture the bottle lids and wait until it is completely dry. Lastly paint the lids with acrylic paint and use the paper or card stock to make decorations for the cakes. 

And you are done!!

You can also make mini cakes for your dolls using salt dough. Just make some salt dough and roll it into a plate. Then cut round shapes that look like pancakes. Put them on top of each other and you are pretty much good to go!!
